Q: Can the One RFID feeder read microchips or be used with other RFID tags?
A: The RFID reader only works with the dedicated collar tag, not microchips or tags from other brands.Besides, the feeder can only sync with one collar tag.
Q: What's the best way to place mutiple One RFID feeders?
A: Feeders should be positioned in a dry location, with each One RFID feeder placed at least 10 inches apart from one another. Moreover, any Dockstream fountains should be positioned at a minimum of 5.9 inches away from any One RFID feeder for optimal performance.
Q: Can the feeder work without the mat that comes with the feeder?
A: No, the feeder's pet recognition feature relies on RFID technology, of which the mat functions as the RFID reader that allows the correct pet to be recognized and for the food bowl lid to open. When you install the feeder, make sure the RFID reader mat is properly installed or the pet recognition will fail. We recommend making sure the RFID reader is properly attached properly to the base of the feeder on a daily basis.
Q: Can this feeder be used for wet cat food?
A: The feeder is suitable for dry food ONLY, with kibble sizes ranging from 2-15mm in diameter. Larger kibble may get stuck at the food outlet.
Q: Can this feeder work with larger dogs?
A: This feeder is more suited for small or medium pets.
Q: Can the feeder run on just battery power without the power plug, or is the battery only for backup in case of a power outage?
A: To prevent sudden power outages from affecting your pet's feeding, avoid using the batteries as the sole power source for the feeder. The batteries should only be used as an emergency backup. When the feeder is powered solely by batteries, the Wi-Fi function and reset button will be disabled to extend the working time, while meal schedules will be carried out normally.
Q: Is the collar tag waterproof?
A: The collar tag is splashproof only. Please refrain from submerging the tag underwater. Additionally, the tag is made of food-safe material and is bite-proof.
Q: Does the collar tag need to be charged?
A: No, the tag does not need charging.

I love it
We got a new kitten and he needed to be on his own specific diet as he was eating a higher calorie diet and are older cat was eating all of his food. Then it turns out that on top of that our older cat needed a urinary tract prescription diet. That made it a little difficult when it came to making sure they weren't eating each other's food for a little while he was small enough that he couldn't jump up onto the tall places so we would just feed her up there but then quickly enough he learned how to do that. I had always wanted to get one of these and was a little nervous because they're so expensive but it quickly became the only option. These things are KITTEN PROOF when I say my kitten has tried everything in his small tiny power to get into his sister's food and it does not work I mean it and I love that it tells me how often they're eating that I can make sure they're getting the right amount of kcals it's just a great product. I've attached a video of the kitten trying to break into his sisters just so you can see that he doesn't mess around he has knocked the shields off of the sides successfully in his escapades but he's never gotten the actual top open.

Works!
Sometimes Finn (Tux who is our thief) can stand on top of Geralt (buff colored kitten) and steal food but he usually just gives up! He also can open doors drawers and most catproof containers. He has not been able to open or get extra food from this feeder yet. Sometimes he pushes Geralt out of the way so he can eat but Geralts tag is still being read. Overall it has helped but isnt Finni Proof.

Worth every penny
I have 3 cats, 2 of them that live for the feeder to go off but one is much worse than the other one. Stealing from the neighbors & of course overweight. And the other cat that was always coming to me because her bowl was empty whenever she went to eat. I decided to take advantage of the black Friday sale & bought 3 of them. There was a little confusion from the 2 troublemakers trying to steal from the other 2 bowls. Set up was super easy! & they understood soon enough which bowl opens for them. Now my one cat always has food in her bowl when she wants to eat & I can keep track of how much each one of them is eating

Perfect addition to the new fountain
Our female always ate the leftovers that our male left. She was starting to gain wait while our male lost weight. We also had to change his diet due to crystals in his urine which made food more expensive. It took them both about a week to acclimate to the feeders but they are very comfortable with them now. One of the best investments yet.

Came back and bought more
We got a new kitten and we have 2 dogs. I was worried about one of my dogs eating the kitten’s food as we already have issues with him sneaking his sister’s food so this was the perfect solution. It works so great that we bought two more for our dogs. The only thing I wish could be changed is to make them more compatible for mid size/large dogs. With the limited food size we can only buy certain dog foods and the sensor doesn’t pick up the RFID tag well on our dog’s collar so we had to lift the feeder higher to be able to recognize them better. Additionally even though it can release up to four cups of food, I’m finding that with 1 cup of food for my dogs gets stuck because the bowl isn’t really large enough to hold it all. Still HIGHLY recommend, but those additions or other options could make it even better.
